Perched atop Telegraph Hill, Coit Tower is an iconic San Francisco landmark known for its distinctive Art Deco design and panoramic views of the city. The tower was built in 1933 at the request of Lillie Hitchcock Coit, a prominent local figure, to beautify the city. Inside, visitors can find a series of murals created by local artists depicting scenes of San Francisco life during the Great Depression.
