Trek Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Jorhat Airport, and then drive to Sivasagar, which is approximately 80 km away. Check-in at your guest house/hotel and take some rest. In the evening, explore the nearby areas of the town and interact with the locals.

Day 2: After breakfast, start trekking towards the Rang Ghar, which is approximately 2 km away from Sivasagar. The trek is easy level, and it takes around 1 hour to reach the Rang Ghar. En route, you will pass through beautiful landscapes, tea gardens, and small villages. At Rang Ghar, you will witness the beautiful ancient amphitheater, which was used for various cultural and traditional events during the Ahom dynasty. After exploring Rang Ghar, return to your guest house/hotel in Sivasagar.

Sivasagar Historical Sites Trek

Day 3: Today, you will trek towards the Joysagar Tank, which is approximately 5 km away from Sivasagar. The trek is easy level, and it takes around 2-3 hours to reach the tank. En route, you will pass through beautiful landscapes, paddy fields, and small villages. At Joysagar Tank, you will witness the beautiful ancient tank, which was built by Swargadeo Rudra Singha during the Ahom dynasty. You will also explore the three temples situated on the banks of the tank, including the famous Shiva Dol Temple. After exploring the Joysagar Tank, return to your guest house/hotel in Sivasagar.

Day 4: Today, you will trek towards the Sivasagar Sivadol, which is approximately 2 km away from Sivasagar. The trek is easy level, and it takes around 1 hour to reach the temple. En route, you will pass through beautiful landscapes, tea gardens, and small villages. At Sivasagar Sivadol, you will explore the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which was built during the Ahom dynasty. You will also witness the beautiful sculptures and carvings on the walls of the temple. After exploring the temple, return to your guest house/hotel in Sivasagar.

Day 5: Today, you will trek towards the Kareng Ghar, which is approximately 10 km away from Sivasagar. The trek is easy level, and it takes around 3-4 hours to reach the palace. En route, you will pass through beautiful landscapes, paddy fields, and small villages. At Kareng Ghar, you will explore the ancient palace, which was the residence of the Ahom kings during the 18th century. You will also witness the beautiful carvings and sculptures on the walls of the palace. After exploring the palace, return to your guest house/hotel in Sivasagar.

Day 6: Today is the last day of your trek. After breakfast, drive back to Jorhat Airport for your departure.
