Itinerary

Your English-speaking driver will pick you up at Kuala Lumpur airport and send you to Malacca, the oldest Malaysian city. We'll spend over 2 hours (145km) by car to get to Malacca. Check in the hotel on arrival.

Accommodation: Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Malacca (5 stars) or similar

Your driver will take you to visit Malacca today. We'll go to the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, and you can visit the most historical Chinese temple in this city freely. Then visit the Stadthuys (Dutch Red Square) and take photos there. Next, passing by St. Paul's Church and the Fortress Porta de Santiago, you will hang out on the Jonker Street. Lunch is on your own.

You'll have a 45-minute Malacca River Cruise from Taman Rempah Jetty in the afternoon. After the tour, your driver will escort you back to Kuala Lumpur, and check in the hotel we chose for you.

Your driver will show you around in Kuala Lumpur. At Petronas Towers, you can overlook the whole city at the Sky Bridge on 41F(including ticket to desk). Passing Kuala Lumpur Tower and the Jamek Mosque, you can visit the Independence Square and take pictures freely, as well as see the Sultan Abdul Samad Building far away. At Kuala Lumpur City Gallery, you can learn much about the history and culture of this city.

In the afternoon we'll head to the National Mosque. You can visit this site by yourself with the driver's introduction on the way. We'll also go to the King's Palace, where you can only see it outside and take photos. After the visits, we'll go back the hotel. At night, you may go to the Lake Symphony in front of the Suria KLCC by yourself, where you can see the exciting music fountain (normally the show time is 20:00 and 21:00).

Today your driver will lead you to Kuala Tembeling Jetty with 3 hours' drive (242km). We'll stop over halfway for an hour, to have a short visit to the Batu Caves, a holy land of Hindus. Visitors have to climb 272 footsteps to go inside the caves. When we get to the jetty, you'll take a 3-hour longboat trip to Kuala Tahan Jetty in the Taman Negara National Park, which is said to be one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world. Check in the hotel on your own. After dinner in the hotel, you'll follow the nature guide to hike through the jungle with other tourists together, while listening to the whispers of insects at night.

After breakfast, go on your holiday to the Teresek Hill with the nature guide. You will walk through the world's highest and longest canopy walkway (The canopy walkway is closed on Fridays) to enjoy the panoramic scenery of this rainforest. Have lunch in the hotel. Then we'll go to Lata Berkoh by boat along Sungai Tahan. On arrival you can appreciate the cascading waterfall or swim in the deep pool.

Accommodation: Mutiara Resort Taman Negara (4 stars) or similar

In the morning, you'll take a short river crossing boat to Kuala Tahan Jetty and then drive you to the Cameron Highlands, Malaysian largest highland resort. We'll take 4 hours or so for the whole journey (257km). On the way, we'll also go to visit the Lata Iskandar Waterfall. Check into the hotel upon arrival.

Your driver will pick you up at the agreed time and transfer you to the highest peak of the Cameron Highlands - Gunung Brinchang, where you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of the plateau. You can also go hiking in the Mossy Forest there. Then we’ll come to BOH Tea Plantation & Factory (closed on Mondays), which is the grandest tea plantation in Malaysia. You will see the process of making tea. The next stop will be the Cactus Valley with many species of cactuses. After that, the Strawberry Farm will provide you a chance to pick fresh strawberries at your own expenses. While visiting the local market, you can see varied specialties. Finally we’ll visit the Lavender Farm, a nice place to photograph.

Today we'll drive to Penang in 4 hours or so (249km). Visit the Kek Look Tong Temple near Ipoh Town halfway. If you want to eat lunch there, your driver will take you to Ipoh Town and recommend proper restaurants for you. Then we'll continue our drive to Penang. Via the charming Penang Bridge, we'll arrive at the hotel. If you have an interest to see the Penang Street Arts, you can stroll on the streets to find them and take photos.

Accommodation: Hotel Jen Penang by Shangri-la (4 stars) or similar

In the morning you'll enjoy a car tour to see the landmarks of George Town: the Fort Cornwallis, Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, Clan Jetty and Street of Harmony. If you want to take more pictures of any building above, we'll have a photo stop there. Afterwards we'll head to the Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple to worship the Reclining Buddha, with the 3rd hugest statue of Reclining Buddha worldwide. Lunch is on your own.

In the afternoon, we'll go to the Penang Hill, and up to the hill with funicular train. You can look the beauty of Penang Island on high and take pictures. At last, you'll be sent back the hotel.
