This morning after breakfast join our tour guide for sightseeing of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, the prime attraction of little city which was home to Sri Aurobindo & his mother for most of the life. Later visit Auroville – the perfect place for everyone which teaches the people to live in harmony.

Take guided walk with our expert & drive to Tanjore en-route visit Chidambaram, the city is known for Nataraja Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the oldest & magnificent temples of South. Sculptures depicted of Lord Shiva in form of Cosmic dance. Have lunch at local restaurant & drive to Tanjore on the way stop at Kumbakonam to see the famous temple of Lord Shiva & Brass Factory. Also visit the temples of Darasuram & Gangaikondacholapuram. Check in at hotel in Tanjore. Overnight stay.

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel & visit the beautiful Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara the technique is used here same as building pyramids by Egyptians. Visit the Thanjavur Palace & Art Gallery. Later drive to Chettinad en-route will visit Trichy, was important town for Cholas, Nayakas & British East India Company. It houses many historic temples, churches & monuments. Trichy or Tiruchirapalli is situated on the banks of river Kaveri, truly a gift for who have interest in history, architecture & culture. Visit Rockfort Temple perched on 83m high rock. The rock is to be said to be the oldest in the world. Visit the historical fort & temple of Lord Vinayaka.

Later drive to Chettinad, once was home to the wealthy Chettiars. This region is packed with history & grandeur, gives it a significant position in Tamil Nadu. Check in at pre-booked hotel for overnight stay.

Morning visit the famous mansions of Karaikudi region & Pillayarpatti Temple. One can also have a short market tour to collect souvenirs in the local markets & do not forget to try the local cuisine which is widely famous in this region.

Later drive to Madurai & check in at your hotel. This evening visit Meenakshi Temple, a superb example of ancient Dravidian architecture & nearly 2000 years old. See the evening Aarti ceremony followed by overnight stay at hotel.

Check out from hotel in morning & transfer to Madurai Airport to board flight for Chennai. From Chennai Airport you can board your onward flight back to home.
