Wake up just after sunrise, with the crisp morning air filling your lungs. A fresh cup of coffee/tea and homemade biscuits await at the main deck area for you to enjoy. A delicious packed breakfast will be supplied, as you will have an early morning departure on your full day mokoro safari in the Okavango Delta.

Your Mokoro safari will begin as you head out into the many reed channels of the Okavango Delta. Your guide will already have an update of any exciting or special sightings in the area. Most guides are from the Bayei tribal people who many believe to be the first inhabitants of the Okavango Delta, “people of the Delta” so to speak. You will learn about all aspects of this magical inland oasis from the tiniest of creatures, beautiful reed frogs and big 5 mammal species along the water edge. Your guide will also interpret nature to you in a unique manner and show you traditional and medicinal uses of wild plants in the Delta.

A stop will be made on one of the many islands to enjoy your packed lunch before heading on a nature walk to discover more of this abundant ecosystem. After some relaxing time, you will continue your adventure exploring more of these unlimited channels and choosing to stop at any other islands as you may please. Returning at 16:00pm.

After returning to the lodge, you will have some time to freshen up and relax before dinner, which will be served under the stars in the open Boma.

A delicious, packed breakfast will be supplied, as you will have an early morning departure on your full day safari game drive including Moremi / Khwai Reserves. On your drive to Moremi Reserve, you will be in a community reserve with ample opportunity for sighting of the Big 5 and other animal.

Moremi is the home to nearly 500 species of bird (from water birds to forest dwellers), and a vast array of other species of wildlife, including buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyaena, jackal, impala, and red lechwe and African Wild dog.

Experience this in an open game vehicle specially converted, allowing one to absorb and experience sightings with all of your senses when up and close to wildlife. Your experienced game ranger will teach you about all aspects of nature and interpret wildlife behaviour to you in a unique way. He will also receive updates from other rangers in the area determining animal movements.

A packed lunch will be served in style by your guide at one of the beautiful rest camps along the way.

You should return to the lodge by about 16:00pm. Return time could be delayed depending on the condition of the roads, time of year and sightings.

After returning to the lodge, you will have some time to relax and enjoy the great scenery from our deck, or rest in your room before dinner.

Dinner will be served under the stars in the open Boma.

The sounds of the bush will wake you up on this beautiful morning. A delicious breakfast and freshly brewed coffee will be served.

One of the highlights of your visit awaits - a scenic helicopter fight over the Boteti River and Okavango Delta. This is an amazing experience!

Sightseeing from the helicopter will give you the ultimate view of the Okavango Delta’s spectacular geography and wildlife. There is no better way to grasp the outstanding beauty of the Okavango Delta region than from above.

Please confirm with the reception desk the exact time you need to be ready for the flight.

Taking to the skies from the riverbank at the camp, the helicopter will fly over along the Boteti River – part of the Greater Okavango Delta system – until we reach the main part of the Delta for a short fly over. From a single river frequented with animals, the view unfolds into beautiful water channels that meander through the papyrus-fringed waterways, passing palm-covered islands. Observe how the channels wander through the delta in ever-changing paths as this dynamic water system spans an impressive surface space. The vastness of this pristine wilderness is breath-taking. Be ready for animal sightings at any moments of this flight.

Once the flight is complete, your will be dropped on the banks of the camp again, a short walk away from your tent.

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast in a more relaxed fashion this morning, taking in the breath-taking surroundings one last time before you prepare for checkout and transfer to Maun. The friendly lodge staff will bid you farewell before a transfer back to Maun airport or your choice of drop off point within Maun. This is the end of your tour.
