Cuba Highlights Tour packages (7 Nights / 8 Days)

After breakfast in hotel, the guide and the driver will pick you up at appointed time and drive you to Old Havana. You will have a walking tour here with the guide. We will start from the square with the longest history in Havana, Plaza de Armas which is surrounded by old buildings during colonial period like Palace of Segundo Cabo. Then, visit Capitanes Generales Palace, the most representative baroque architecture in Havana. Next, walk to the second oldest square Plaza de San Francisco where you will see the exterior of several colonial-era architectures like San Francisco de Asis Convento, and Lonja del Comercio. We'll then go to Old Square (Plaza Vieja) to see the unique architecture. Afterwards, go to Cathedral Square to admire the outside of the old Havana Cathedral. Walk for a few minutes to La Bodeguita del Medio restaurant where Ernest Miller Hemingway used to drink his favorite Mojito when he lived in Havana. We’ll also walk through Obispo Boulevard to the Paseo del Prado where many classical buildings are located like the Grand Theater of Havana, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Capitol of Havana. Lunch is on your own.

In the afternoon, the guide will take you to explore Modern Havana by an old American vintage car. Go for a drive in Malecon and see Morro Castle from a distance. Next, head to visit the exterior of University of Havana and Colombus Cemetery by car, finally arrive at Revolution Square to take photos. After the visit, the driver and the guide will send you back to the hotel.

The third day of the Cuba vacation packages, we will drive 3 hours (144 mi) to Vinales Valley which is planted with the best tobacco of Cuba. Upon arrival, we'll go to visit a cigar farm and see the tobacco drying process. We'll have lunch in the organic farm Finca Agro-ecological El Paraiso where you can enjoy the most scenic view of Vinales Valley.

After lunch, we'll first go to the Indian Caves and take a boat to the inside to see the stalactites. Then, go to Mural de la Prehistoria to admire the huge mural on the cliff. Finally, stop to visit the town of Vinales. Return to Havana by car.

The first destination today is Cienfuegos. The 275 km's (171 mi) drive takes 4 hours. When passing by the Bay of Pigs, we'll visit a local museum to know historical events which took place in this area in the past century, and then wander on the beach to relax yourself.

Upon arrival, the guide will take you to walk on the street to feel the French atmosphere. Visit Plaza Jose Marti, Terry Theater, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Ferrer’s Palace, and Palacio Del Valle. Afterwards we’ll go to Malecon to appreciate the beautiful coastal scene. Finally drive for 1 hour to the final destination Trinidad and check in the hotel. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner at the hotel.

In the morning we will take you to explore Trinidad city. The cobblestone covered streets and colorful houses worth taking photos. We'll first visit Cantero Palace (now called Museo de Historia Municipal), and climb up the tower to overlook the whole city. Then go to Canchanchara Bar to have a welcoming drink. And then visit Romantic Museum, Plaza Mayor and a pottery workshop. Have lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon, we'll drive out of the city to visit the Valley of the Sugar Mills, the old center of sugar industry. Part of the old building are well-preserved. Finally, we'll climb up the Manaca Iznaga Tower to appreciate the beautiful scene of the valley. Transfer you back to the hotel before dinner time.

Today we'll drive for 4 hours (166.5 miles) to Varadero. On the way we'll stop at Santa Clara to visit Che Guevara Mausoleum and to know the local life by visiting the Vidal Park. Upon arrival, check in the hotel. Rest of the day is free on your own. After a short rest, enjoy lunch at the hotel buffet restaurant. Dinner will be also included at the hotel restaurant.

Besides glorious beach, Varadero also has galleries, museums, bars and cafes, and handicraft markets. You can try watersports like diving, snorkeling, sailing, kite surfing and so on.

Today is the last day of your Cuba holiday packages. We'll send you back to Havana in around 2 hours and see you off at the airport according to your flight schedule. Wish you a pleasant trip home!
