We will meet you at the Luang Prabang International Airport and transfer you directly to your hotel. Our guide will meet in the afternoon to brief everyone thoroughly and make sure the bikes fit.
Then, we take a short transfer out of town and start a nice, easy ride along the Mekong River to get accustomed to riding in Laos. We will have a welcome dinner at a local Charity vocational training restaurant.

A one and half hour trip to Kuang Si Falls for a dip in the brilliant blue ice-cold waters is a must-see in Laos.
We will stop at the Laos Water Buffalo Dairy on the way back from the city for a tour of this rare and interesting community project that educates locals in animal husbandry and welfare, helps provide valuable income and diversification to remote rural villages, and makes some truly amazing Ice Cream!
Luang Prabang remains one of Asia's most beautiful historic towns, earning it the status of a World Heritage Site in 1995. Rising from the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers, it is popular for its many temples and preserved French colonial architecture. There are also ancient monasteries and a Royal Palace Museum.

Today, we embark on a two-hour transfer by minivan to bring you up to the highlands of Kiu Kacham, at an altitude of 1350 meters. During the first stretch of this journey, you will be cycling through the mountainous terrain between 1000 and 1400 meters to reach Phou Khoun. You will traverse hilltops and soak in stunning views as you make your way there.
After the incredible ascent of Phou Khoun, you will be rewarded with an extended downhill stretch that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and brings you to the picturesque valley of Kasi. There are three different starting points for this day's ride, so you can make your decision on which one to begin with the evening before.

Today, we'll cycle a much shorter distance on the gentle rolling hills that will lead us to Vang Vieng. If all goes according to plan, we should arrive at our destination just in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you can choose to explore and relax at either of the stunning Tham Xang or Tham Hoi caves, which are situated among a captivating backdrop of the Nam Song River. Sip on a refreshing Lao beer while taking in the incredible sight of the majestic mountains that you have just crossed. Watch as the sun gradually sets in the horizon and marvel at its beauty.

Today, we cycle to the remarkable 'sea of Laos': the 250 square kilometer artificial Lake Nam Ngum. A 2 hour boat ride brings you to the dam, where you'll find some amazing fish restaurants and get to experience a splendid view of the lake.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, we embark on a breathtaking journey down a secluded back road surrounded by lush valleys and quaint villages. As the day draws to a close, you arrive at the hotel situated along the tranquil banks of Nam Ngum River. Here, you will be able to relax in complete comfort as you spend the night in a beautiful setting.

Today, you have the unique experience of cycling through the lush and picturesque paddy fields in the stunning Phou Khao Khouay mountain range before reaching Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. You will have a chance to ride through the charming suburbs of this buzzing and historically significant city, eventually making your way to its center situated along the banks of the majestic Mekong.
After a long and exciting journey, we finally arrived in the capital city in the late afternoon, giving us ample time to explore some of its wonderful sights in Vientiane.
