Today you will first cycle to Haderslev. The medieval old town at Hadersleven Dam entices you with numerous cafés and a walk along the reservoir, which dates back to the Middle Ages. Back on the saddle, you roll comfortably through the quiet area to Christiansfeld.

After leaving Christiansfeld, you cycle through the wooded region to Kolding. From far away you can already see the massive tower of the old royal castle Koldinghus. Passing the Kolding Fjord and via Skærbæk you cross the Little Belt just before you reach your destination for today, Middelfart.

The opposite city Fredericia can be reached via the Little Belt. Worth seeing is the center of the city, which was laid out in a checkerboard pattern. Once in Veijle, a visit to the windmill, the town's landmark, is worthwhile. The windmill contains inside a museum about the history of the mill.
