France, officially known as the French Republic, is a fascinating country located in Western Europe. It is renowned for its rich history, exquisite cuisine, stunning landscapes, and iconic landmarks. After 2 hours on the road, first stop in Rouen for a guided walking tour in the old town. You will visit the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral with its astronomical clock called "Gros Horloge".
On the way between Rouen and Honfleur (1h by bus), you can admire the newly built Normandy bridge called "Pont de Normandie".
In Honfleur : free time for lunch
Explore the famous Normandy beaches where the Allies landed on June 6th, 1994.
You will discover the site of the United States Army's landing at Omaha Beach, as well as the poignant American Cemetery of Saint-Laurent.
You will also stop in Arromanches, where you can still spy traces of the pontoons used to support the artificial harbor.
The first day ends in Caen, where you will have dinner (included) and an overnight at Caen Novotel (or a similar 4-star hotel).
The second day begins with a breakfast buffet. After at least 1h travel by bus, you will arrive in Saint-Malo. Here, thanks to the guided visit you will discover this charming town. After lunch (free time) it is time to depart to Mont-Saint-Michel for a guided visit to the world-famous Abbey, followed by free time in the village. Free time for dinner in Angers. Overnight stay at the 4-star hotel in Angers.
Departure from Angers at 8.00 a.m., passing by Cunault and Saumur before the guided visit of the Langeais Castle. Stop for lunch in Amboise (free time). In the afternoon, you will discover the Chateau de Chenonceau and discover a lot of anecdotes and french culture thanks to the guided visit. Then you'll go to Chambord Castle, guided visit. You will leaving around 5:15 p.m. The return to Paris is expected around 9.00 p.m.
