Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest, home to endangered animals liken Tigers, Elephants, Tapirs, Sun Bears….. 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species…medicinal and poisonous plants, not forgetting the aphrodisiacs. A colony of aborigines live deep in the jungle. The ladies shy away, children smile and men ‘run’ away only to reappear with their fire making and hunting tools for a ‘native’ demonstration. The rainforest is their supermarket. They also sustain themselves with small farming, fishing, trade medicinal herbs and spices and use blowpipe for small mammals. Taman Negara activities : Canopy Walkway ( Fridays and during bad weather closed), Rapids shooting, Jungle Trekking and the Aborigines village visit. Join the Nature Guide for the Night Jungle Walk to look for mouse deer, spiders, scorpions, snakes even wild boars and black Panther. Cameron Highlands a hill resort with large tea plantations, farmlands, lakes, waterfalls, wildlife, aborigines. It was discovered by British Geologist Sir William Cameron in 1885. Tea Plantations are instrumental in drawing visitors to the highlands, and they work closely with Nature societies as in WWF in the conservation of our endangered animals. A wonderful idea to sip tea perched on an elevated tea café to catch a bird’s eye view of the lush carpet of greenery below. Some rare butterflies, stick insects, beetles, scorpions, spiders are live at the Butterfly Farm. The walk down to marketplace to see various vegetables, fruits and flowers is exciting. Penang Island a major tourist destination. 2 Bridges link the island with the mainland. Apart from Malay, Chinese and Indian communities, there are also Eurasian, Siamese and expatriates. Georgetown cited as a UNESCO Heritage City is the capital of Penang. It’s a high tech manufacturing entity giving trade incentives for foreign investments. The main attractions are Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si Chinese Temple, Clan Jetties, Fort Cornwallis. Trishaw ride through Georgetown – the UNESCO capital of Penang is exciting.
Batu Feringghi is the happening beach front with water sports, dining options with seafront nite markets, luxury hotels. It is most definitely a blast ! You will be left undisturbed to enjoy the sun sea sand of Penang Island.

7am Complimentary pick up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel and proceed to Taman Negara enroute visit the iconic Batu Caves. Proceed to Taman Negara and on arrival take a walk up the Canopy Walkway for a bird’s eye view of the world’s oldest rainforest. Canopy closed Fridays.
The boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids and you will get a “chance” to get wet during rapods shooting. At aborigine village watch their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. The experienced Nature Guide who lives in Taman Negara itself belts out facts, taboos of Taman Negara.
Check in. After refreshing, join the Nature Guide for the Nite Jungle walk to look for mouse deer, insects, spiders and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick.
8.30pm Jump onto a forestry boat and float downstream to look for deer, tapirs, elephants lazing at the riverside. Enjoy the rainforest ambience seated on a boat deep in a virgin jungle.
8.00am After breakfast depart for the Camerons and visit tea plantations that works closely with the WWF (World Wildlife Foundation) in the conservation of our endangered Elephants, Tigers and OrangUtan. Tea plantations are instrumental in drawing visitors to the Highlands. Take a walk through the rolling hills for a photo shoot. It is wonderful to sip tea perched on an elevated tea cafe to catch a bird's eye view of the lush carpet of greenery.
BUTTERFLY FARM a secret paradise of live butterflies and insects that dance on scented flowers and ferns. You will view various insects, scorpions, spiders etc
VEGETABLE MARKET The cool climate augurs well in growing Veggies, Fruits and Flowers. Some farmers are into organic farming due to the growing niche market. Take a stroll to see a showcase of vegetables, fruits and flowers grown in the Cameron Highlands. Check in to hotel. You will be guided to reasonably priced restaurants for Dinner - recommended the "HOT POT". Bring sweaters as the nites are cold.
8am After breakfast, depart for PENANG enroute bonus stop at the Orangutan Island where the in-house guide will belt out facts about the Orangutan and their habitat.
Penang is one of the most beautiful touristic locations in Malaysia, also known as a food haven with colonial landmarks Fort Cornwallis where Sir Francis Light the founder of Penang 1786 first landed. A visit to Clan jetty houses and the heritage enclave. Drive up to BATU FERINGGHI - the Happening beach front in Penang with Water sports, seafood restaurants, street food, seafront night markets, luxury hotels of International standards.
You will be left undisturbed to enjoy the sights and sounds of Penang and the sun, sea and sand. You are in for a blast ! ENJOY! End of tour.
