Itinerary

Kota Kinabalu to Kinabalu Park (D)
You will be picked up from your accommodation at 10:00 and transferred to Kinabalu National Park, passing by villages and paddy fields along the Crocker Range. On your way to the National Park your driver will drop you at the colorful Nabalu Market for 20 minutes of souvenir shopping. Once at the Park you will check-in at your hostel and enjoy free time until dinner at 18:00. Overnight in Kinabalu Park Hostel.You’ll be picked up at your accommodation and transferred to Kinabalu Park where you will check-in to your accommodation and enjoy some leisure time until dinner.

Kinabalu Trek (B/L/D)
Your breakfast will be served at 07:30 at Balsam restaurant. After breakfast, meet your mountain guide at Sabah Park Registration Office and then continue to the Power Station by coach (approx. 15 minutes) to commence the climb. Start the ascent to Laban Rata with your packed lunch. A nice winding path up the mountain takes you through various vegetation zones, such as montane oak, rhododendrons and conifer forests. After approximately 4 hours of trekking, you will arrive at your Guesthouse in Laban Rata [3550m]. Check-in and enjoy a delicious dinner whilst taking in the spectacular mountain landscape around you. Free time for the rest of the evening. Overnight at Laban Rata Guesthouse.
Today you will commence the hike, reaching Laban Rata after approximately 4 hours to check-in at the Mountain Guesthouse.

Climb to Summit & Return to Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Wake up at 02:00 and commence the torchlit hike to the summit. The climb will take about 3 hours and upon arrival you’ll be able to witness a beautiful sunrise from the summit. Then begin the walk down to Laban Rata Guesthouse for your breakfast before continuing to the Power Station. Transfer to Park HQ and have lunch at the park's restaurant. Get your certificate of great achievement before transferring back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu.Rise early for the torchlit climb to the summit. After 3 hours you should reach the summit’s granite plateau, just in time for a beautiful sunrise. You will finish the trip back in Kota Kinabalu.
