This tour starts from Penang Island and specially concocted for tourists already in Penang and wishing to visit Kuala Lumpur by land to enjoy the tourist destinations of the Camerons, Taman Negara and Kuala Lumpur.
Cameron Highlands a hill resort with large tea plantations, farmlands, lakes, waterfalls, wildlife, aborigines. Tea Plantations are instrumental in drawing visitors to the highlands, and they work closely with Nature societies as in WWF in the conservation of our endangered animals.
Taman Negara is a 130 million year old tropical rainforest home to endangered animals as in tigers, elephants, tapirs, pythons, deers … 14,000 flowering plants , 300 bird species……and aborigines scattered throughout the rainforest.
Kuala Lumpur is a potpourri of diverse cultures – Malays, Chinese and Indians. It began as a tin mining settlement. The colonial landmarks Sultan Abdul Samad Building, St Mary’s Cathedral, Jamek Mosque, Railway station are British architectural marvels. We got Independence from the British on 31 August 1957. Iconic Batu Caves, Little India and Chinatown are main attractions.

7.00am Complimentary pick up from Penang hotels and depart for
Cameron Highlands . Bonus stop at Orangutan Island - a critically endangered species now rigorously undergoing conservation efforts. Proceed onto to the Camerons - a Hill Resort with cool temperatures and large tea plantations and farmlands. It was discovered by a British Geologist Sir William Cameron in 1885. Visit tea plantation which are instrumental in drawing visitors to the Highlands. It is a wonderful experience to sip tea perched on an elevated tea cafe and catch a glimpse of the rolling hills below. Take a stroll down the tea hill for a photo shoot.
Butterfly Farm - a secret paradise of butterflies and insects dancing on flowers. You will get to see live snakes, scorpions, spiders, beetles etc.
Walkabout tour of the Veggie market to see a showcase of various fruits, vegetables and flowers grown in the Camerons. Check in to hotel and you will be guided to reasonably priced popular restaurants by the Guide. Bring sweaters as the nights are cold. Recommended dinner the 'HOT POT'.

7am Depart for Taman Negara and on arrival trek to Canopy Walkway to see a rainforest in all her glory. The boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids to reach an
aborigine village. The ladies shy away and the men "run" away only to reappear with their fire making and blowpipe tool kits for a "native" demonstration. The Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Taman Negara, He lives in Taman Negara. Check in. Free and easy.
After dinner join Nature Guide on the Night Jungle Walk to look for spiders, scorpons, deer, and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt intake.
8.30pm Catch a boat for the Night River Cruise. As the boatman floats the boat floats the boat downstream, look oput for elephants, deers, tapirs lazing along the riverside. It is a feeling of Night ambience in the rainforest seated on a boat in lullaby motion deep in a virgin jungle. Ain't it a take home take away?
8.00am After breakfast depart for Kuala Lumpur enroute visit the iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity honored during Hindu festival of "Thaipusam". Ladies must be properly attired - knees and shoulders must be covered. Visit Independent Square as in Sultan Abdul Samad Building, St Mary's Cathedral, Jamek Mosque, Clubhouse. Drive past Old Railway Station, National Mosque, colorful Little India and bustling Chinatown. Check in. Free and easy.
4pm Depart for Kuala Selangor which houses the largest fireflies colony in the world. Meet the slver leaf monkeys and adjourn to a riverside restaurant for a sumptuous seafood dinner. Catch a boat to watch fireflies - a lighting bug that has a chemical reaction on their bottoms which lights up as in a Christmas tree. They rest, feed and mate. A fascinating sight to behold and silence to prevail.
