Day 01: Novosibirsk
17:15-arrival in OVB airport. Transfer by minivan to the hotel, Check in to the hotel. Dinner at hotel
Day 02: Novosibirsk
Breakfast at hotel

10:00-14:00 – Tour to Academgorodok with the visit to Open-Air Old Trains Museum
Dinner at the hotel Tour to the scientific city – Akademgorodok – the only scientific city in the world,
where all the branches of sciences are presented. Sometimes it called by Western Media as a
“Scientific Vatican”. You will enter Akademgorodok by Lavrentiev Prospect, marked by the
Guinness Book of Records as the “world’s most scientific street”; see a famous NSU building and the
a place where Akademgorodok was founded – its Golden Valley and cottages of scientists with a rich
history, as well as a modern scientific center, iconic monuments (Academician Belyaev with a fox
And Mouse, knitting DNA spiral) and a growth point – the most successful Technopark in the
country. On your way back to the city center, you may visit the river Ob reservoir – an artificial Ob
sea.

Day 03: Novosibirsk
Breakfast at hotel
10:00-15:00 – City tour of Novosibirsk with visiting colorful Central Market and lunch at Indian
restaurant “Little India”
Dinner at hotel
City tour of Novosibirsk, covering all the main city sights. You will see Novosibirsk Railway Station –
the biggest station of the Trans-Siberian Railroad; Ascension Cathedral – the first building made of
red brick; Krasny Prospect street – former Nikolay’s avenue; Lenin Square – city center with the
biggest Russian theater; old wooden houses on Gorkogo Str. are the oldest part of the city; St.
Nicolas Chapel – the geographic center of the Russian Empire; river Ob’ embankment and colorful
Siberian farm-market.
Day 04: Novosibirsk – Irkutsk
Packed breakfast at the hotel
03:30 – transfer to the airport by minivan
Optional: evening performance in Opera House at 18:00 or 19:00 (repertoire1.5 months before

Meeting at the airport of Irkutsk with a guide
Overnight in Irkutsk «Karl Marx» or similar.
Day 05: Irkutsk-Listvianka on BAIKAL LAKE
Breakfast at the hotel
A walking sightseeing tour of Irkutsk, during which you will see the historical Centre, where Irkutsk was founded over 300 years ago; the Angara River’s embankment, and the most
prominent monuments of architecture. After the sightseeing, you will have some time for shopping

At the central market and a souvenir store. Transfer by car from Irkutsk to the museum “Taltsy”.
The unique park museum under the open air, where you can see a collection of architectural
artifacts

Angara River. Departure by car to Listvianka village. A stop at the Shaman-rock observation
platform next to the Angara’s outflow from the lake, where you will hear a beautiful local legend
and learn some curious customs connected with this place.

Day 06: Lystvianka
Breakfast. A whole-day excursion to Listvyanka settlement on the shore of Lake Baikal. Walk and
excursion to Baikal Ecological museum with a marvelous exposition on the lake’s flora and fauna
Including aquariums with live inhabitants of Baikal. Walking tour around the settlement; visit the
functioning Russian Orthodox church of St. Nicholas-the-Miracle-Worker (the 19th century) and the
local fish market.
Overnight in Listvianka «Mayak» or similar.
Day 07: Lystvianka-Irkutsk
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out.
