Itinerary

Your trip begins with your arrival in Yangon. Your guide and private driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Check in to the hotel and get over the jet lag. Spend your free time exploring this bustling city on your own, visiting colorful markets, and tasting delicious street food.

Overnight in Yangon

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide in the lobby. Today you will explore the most beautiful parts of bustling Yangon. Start your day by visiting the old colonial-style city center with city hall,

Mahabandoola Park with Independence Monument, Pansodan Street and and Yangon Jetty by Car. Then continue to visit Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, (closed on Mondays and Public holidays), which is famous for souvenirs, handicrafts, luxury items, shoes, clothing, jewelry, snacks, and paintings.

In the afternoon, continue to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda to see the colossal reclining

Buddha statue, and Karaweik Hall (Royal barge) on the Royal lake and Kandawgyi Park to relax and

take beautiful photos. End your day with seeing world famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden

dome light up sunshine before sunset.

Overnight in Yangon.

Today you will visit one of Asia’s most popular archeological destinations. Get up early in the morning, and take a domestic flight to Bagan (flight time: 07:00-08:20 am). Upon arrival at Nyaung U airport, meet your guide, who will take you to visit the colorful Nyaung U market and some of Bagan's most famous pagodas and temples. You will see Shwezigon Pagoda, which was built by King Anawyahta, the founder of the Pagan Empire, in the 11th century, and is considered to be the most beautiful pagoda among the 2200 pagodas in Bagan. Then, visit Htilominlo Temple and Gubaukgyi (Wet Kyi Inn) Temple, a 13th-century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of sconces from Jataka.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Lacquerware home cottage, where you will see the traditional methods of lacquerware production passed from

generation to generation. After that, we will explore more pagodas around Bagan, such as Ananda Temple. It is the finest temple in Bagan, famous for the masterpiece of wooden standing Buddha images of the 12th century. Then continue to the highest Thetbyinnyu Temple, the most massive Dhamayangyi Temple, famous for its interlocking mortar and thickest brickwork. In the late afternoon, we will relax and enjoy the sunset in Bagan with beautiful scenery.

Overnight in Bagan

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore Bagan with a ride on a horse cart (if you prefer cycling, it can be replaced with the e-bike). Then have a relaxing time exploring the city at your own pace until the late afternoon, when we will take you to enjoy the sunset cruise over the tranquil Ayeyarwaddy River from your private boat.

OPTIONAL HOT-AIR BALLOON RIDE

The tour starts early in the morning to discover the start of the day, seeing the ancient city of Bagan from above. You will enjoy a magnificent bird's eye view of thousand-year-old pagodas, temples, and the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. The Balloon will be guided by a gentle wind, and you will see how the sun slowly rises in the sky. It is a very exciting experience that you will never forget.

Balloon operates only for the period from October 1 until April 10

each year.

After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will meet you and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Mandalay (scheduled time: 08:35 – 09:05). Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver and head to Amarapura, where you will visit the world-famous U Bein Bridge, a teak wood bridge constructed more than two centuries ago and 1.2 km long. Then head to Mahagandayon Monastery, where you will see the school of the monks and observe the lunch process in the morning. You will also visit a traditional silk-weaving workshop in Amarapura.

In the afternoon, we will visit Mandalay including Mahamuni Pagoda, which is known for the most impressive Buddha image in Myanmar and beautiful building, gold leaf beating workshop, Royal Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Temple and Golden Palace Monastery to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture. Later we will see Kuthodaw Pagoda which is surrounded by 729 inscribed marble slabs and is known as “the world’s largest book”. Enjoy sunset from Mandalay Hill before getting to the hotel.

After breakfast, meet your guide and head to Maha Ant Htoo Kan Thar Pagoda, known for its large Buddha image and a nice overview of Pyin Oo Lwin. Then continue to Pwe Kauk Falls, which is a very pleasant picnic spot. You can enjoy a pleasant walk through the wonderful Botanical Garden at Kandawgyi Lake and Pyin Oo Lwin Market. In the late afternoon, drive back to Mandalay.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mandalay airport to fly to Heho (scheduled time:09:20-09:55). Upon arrival in Heho, meet your guide and driver and take a journey across the Shan Plateau to visit Pindaya Cave, which is the natural limestone cave and Shwe U Min Paya, full of about 8000 Buddha images. Continue your sightseeing to the picturesque Boutaloke Lake and visit the local handicraft workshop to see how traditional Shan Paper and umbrellas are produced. In the late afternoon, take a fresh breath and photo stop at the beautiful big banyan trees at the base of Pindaya Hill. Then you will be transferred to your hotel.

Overnight in Heho.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and get ready to feel the magical atmosphere of Inle Lake by boat trip. Inle Lake is located 1328 meters above sea level and 22km long and 11km wide. Inle was well-known for the floating island and fishermen on the lake.

You would also visit one of the markets (only on market day), the famous covered gold leaves Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Silk weaving, and Lotus cotton weaving villages. See some other workshops such as cheroot making, silversmith, and cottage industries to learn more about the local life and crafts.

On the way to your hotel along the floating gardens, we will stop at Nga Phe Chaung Monastery to see its beautiful Buddha alters.

Overnight in Heho

Relish the remaining moments in Heho before your private driver escorts you to Airport for your flight to Thandwe (scheduled time: 11:00 – 12:00). When you arrive at Thandwe Airport, the hotel staff will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Ngapali by shuttle service. The rest of the time is free for leisure.

Ngapali Beach is a beautiful and serene travel destination located in the Rakhine State of Myanmar. It is a long and wide stretch of white sandy beach fringed with coconut palms and crystal clear waters of the Bay of Bengal. Have a free day to enjoy a peaceful and laid-back atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for relaxation and water activities like swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. You can also take a boat trip to nearby islands, visit local fishing villages, or indulge in the delicious seafood cuisine offered at the beachside restaurants. And don't miss the dramatic sunsets which you can see from the beach.

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your transfer to the Thandwe airport for your flight back to Yangon (scheduled time: 12:15 - 13:05) . Upon arrival in Yangon, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.
