In the early morning, board a domestic flight to Bagan, which is widely regarded as one of Asia's top archaeological destinations. Upon arriving at the airport in Bagan, we will visit the vibrant Nyaung U market before exploring some of the city's most renowned pagodas and temples. Our itinerary will include a visit to the Shwezigon Pagoda, which is the most magnificent among the 2,200 pagodas in Bagan, although it was initially constructed by King Anawyahta in the 11th century. After that, we will visit the Htilominlo Temple and the Gubaukgyi (Wet Kyi Inn) Temple, a 13th-century cave temple known for its interesting frescoes of sconces from the Jataka.

In the afternoon, we will continue our excursion by visiting a lacquerware workshop where we can observe how traditional methods of lacquerware creation have been passed down from generation to generation. Afterward, we will explore additional pagodas throughout Bagan, including the Ananda Temple, which is the most exquisite pagoda in Bagan, renowned for its wooden standing Buddha images from the 12th century. Next, we will see the highest Thetbyinnyu Temple and the most extensive Dhamayangyi Temple, which is famous for its interlocking mortar and thick brickwork. In the late afternoon, we will relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of Bagan while watching the sunset.
