Day 1:
- Reach Wayanad early in the morning and check into a hotel
- After breakfast, head towards the Chembra Peak base camp (around 17 km from Wayanad)
- From the base camp, start the trek to the Chembra Peak (about 6-7 hours)
- The trek starts with a steep climb through dense forests, followed by a grassland stretch, and ends with a steep rocky climb
- On the way, you’ll come across a heart-shaped lake called the ‘Hridaya Saras’ and a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and valleys
- After reaching the peak, rest and enjoy the stunning view of the surroundings before descending back to the base camp
- Return to Wayanad and spend the night at the hotel
