After morning pickup in Jabalpur, transfer to your hotel for check in and breakfast. Depart again by 8:30am for a day-long sightseeing tour of Jabalpur. See the towering Lord Shiva statue, Dhaundhar Water Falls, and Balancing Rock, then board a boat for an evening cruise on the River Narmada at Bhelaghat. Overnight: hotel in Jabalpur
Have breakfast then head out on the 4-hour drive to Kanha National Park. Upon arrival, have lunch and check in at your resort, then take a safari by Jeep in the national park. The park was established in 1955 and shelters the largest population of tigers in India, along with other animals such as leopards, sloth bears, striped hyenas, jackals, wild boars, monkeys, and many species of snakes, birds, and lizards. Drive four hours to reach the second national park on your tour, Bandhavgarh National Park. After time to rest, take a safari by Jeep into the park. Overnight: eco-resort in Bandhavgarh National Park.
Look for tigers in Bandhavgarh National Park on a morning Jeep safari that visits Sidhbaba Temple and Charkadhara, two places with frequent big cat sightings. Drive 4.5 hours to Khajuraho after breakfast and check in to your hotel. Head out again in the evening to view some of the World Heritage-listed temples and view intricately carved statues, including some with erotic motifs. Take a morning excursion to Maihar to see the Maa Sharda Devi Temple. Have lunch back at your hotel, then drive to the residence of members of the former royal family of Ajaigarh. Stay for a dinner of barbecue, then return to Khajuraho where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel in Khajuraho.
