According to your flight schedule, a friendly driver will pick you up from San Juan Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) and transfer you to check in at the well-reserved hotel.
Accompanied by the guide, you will walk through the beautiful cobblestone streets, shop for products and crafts from local artisans, sample delicious Borinquen foods and soak up the history. There are ancient watchtowers built in corners of old San Juan, witnessing the vicissitudes of Puerto Rico's military power over the centuries. Photography enthusiasts can go into these watchtowers for view shooting. If time permits, you will also visit Condado, Isla Verde, Pinones and surrounding areas with local culture introduction.
Then your guide will take you to visit La Perla, a romantic community outside the old city walls, where there are beautiful views and very nice people. Afterwards, you will be escorted to visit the San Cristobal Castle, the sister castle of the Del Morro. It is a Spanish-style fortress and was used by the Spaniards to defend against the basic ground attack of the year, and it was also the largest defensive facility built here.
This morning, you will takea private tour to explore the El Yunque National Rainforest. Along the way, you will see the typical native towns. After arrival, you will take a short hiking and then come to the first stop - La Coca Falls, one of the best known sites in the rainforest. Feel free to enjoy a refreshing slide or dip into a natural pool. If you brave enough, try to do cliff diving. After the trail, you will come to the Yokahú Observation Tower. Climb up for a panoramic view of the eastern Coastal Line including Luquillo and Fajardo, with great opportunities to take photos. Transfer back to your hotel once you finish the adventure.
At about 16:30 in the late afternoon, you will be picked up to the pier for a group tour to Bio Bay. Have you seen the movie Life of PI? You must be impressed by the fluorescent lake in it. Actually, there is a real place with such similar sights in Puerto Rico, and you're going to see it tonight. Let's head to Parque Pasivo Las Croabas in Fajardo town for Bio Bay Night Kayaking. There you paddle into the mangroves and enter Laguna Grande Preserve. When it gets dark, you may see the blowing bioluminescence. Remember to avoid the full moon calendar, and select a dark night for the bio bay tour, which helps you see the wonders better.
In the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel and driven approximately one hour to Ceiba port in Fajado. You will arrive at the appointed location 30 minutes earlier for the join-in-snookering trip, and then the group will take a boat of about 20 minutes to the Vieques Island for today's snorkeling activities. Your snorkeling guide will help you identify corals, marine life, and it is possible to see the most abundant marine life in the Caribbean coral reef gardens while snorkeling.
After an exciting snorkeling, you can relax on the pristine sandy beach. In the meantime, the captain and crew will offer you a wide variety of local delicacies to enjoy. Then return to Fajardo and drive you back to the San Juan Hotel.
Having breakfast at the hotel, and then you will be picked up and transfer to the pier to take a catamaran to Culebra. One of the most spectacular beaches is Flamenco Beach, you can enjoy the sun and sea to your heart's content. After that, you will go snorkeling at Tamarindo Beach. The snorkeling gear is included. Follow the guide's guidance, you may swim with turtles, see the colorful corals on the sea floor, as if you were in the scene of "Finding Nemo". After a happy time on the Culebra Island, you will take catamaran back to the pier and then back to your hotel in San Juan.
